If the basement smells damp no matter the season, water is likely finding a way in somewhere you can't see.
Small cracks in a West Bloomfield foundation rarely stay small — seasonal ground movement tends to widen them over time.
It's easy to mistake efflorescence for harmless dust, but it actually signals active moisture movement.
If your pump only shuts off for a few minutes at a time, it's worth having it checked before it fails outright.
If a foundation wall looks like it's curving inward, that's beyond a simple patch and needs a real assessment.
These upstairs clues usually show up months after the basement moisture problem actually started.
Whatever's going on with your West Bloomfield property, chances are we've already fixed something similar nearby this month.
A flooded West Bloomfield basement doesn't wait for morning, and neither do we. Our crews pull the standing water and start drying the space the same visit.
